nordic brass ensemble Scandinavia´s most prominent brass-musicians, in a unique ensemble with an extraordinary chamber-music concept. Parallel to their positions as players in major symphony orchestras, the members share a need to also express themselves in chamber-music. They do it with sheer enthusiasm ! |
Several members of the ensemble teach at leading universities and conservatories. They are also active as soloists.The ensemble, formed 1993, has a varied, often exclusively arranged repertoire ranging from renaissance to contemporary music.
Standard setup is 4 trumpets, 1 french horn, 4 trombones, 1 tuba, percussion and keyboard instruments.
